Christmas 2008 !

First, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New year :)
I been to BBQ with some coursemate in this 2008 christmas. Playing present exchanges with them also.

Next,

Lets review back what is my previous year 2008 goals!

Daniel5753 year 2008 goals and wish list :-

1. Achieve around 10% total body fat by the end of the year !

- FAIL. I achieved around 14~15% body fat right now.

2. Stay healthy all the time !

- Partially Success. Only fall sick for several food poisoning around the end of the years.

3. Can do 20 time full chin-up !!

- FAIL. Only achieved 10 time full-chin up.

4. Can do 100 push-up in 2 minutes ~!

- FAIL. Manage to do 60 push up in 1 minutes.

5. Hehe , try to get a gf too :p

- Success. I have a special one already.

6. Hope to get a new car :D

- Success.

7. Wish to have a nice watch !

- FAIL. I would get it next year perhaps.

8. Gathering with more new and old friends !

- Partially success.

I know I might not achieve some of my goals for the year 2008. In fact, the most precious things is not the destination..but the experience in the journey. I met a lot of events and enjoy every moment during my journey. I learnt a lot from the obstacles encountered and gained more confident in troubleshooting matters.

Stay tuned, I will post my year 2009 goals once the calender hit over 31st December 2008.

Subway @ Sunway Pyramid

Today I went to Subway @ Sunway Pyramid for my dinner with my babe.

Here is the picture of our meals. A 12"inch long of sandwitch which we share into two.

The steps in selecting your perfect sandwitch:-

1. Choose your buns
- In this steps, you can choose a type of buns for your sandwitch. They got plain, wholemeals, almond, honey oats etc.

2. Choose your fillings
- This steps consist of choosing your main things to put into the sandwitch itself. Got chicken terriyaki, roasted beef, salmon , steak , cheeze and so many many more!!

This is their menu for Fresh Toasted fillings:-
Meatball Marinara
Italian BMT® <-- I choosed this ! Damm tasty ~ Spicy Italian Steak & Cheese Subway® Melt Chicken & Bacon Ranc

3. Choose your dressing
- You can choose what other type of veggies to put inside. Consists of tomato, cucumber, lettuce, onions, and other variety of veggies. PS: You can ask for EXTRA veggies for this. I ask for extra tomato slice for this , and I get soo much of it !

4. Choose your sause's
- Got BBQ Sauce, Chilli sauce, tomato sauce, thousand island, mayonaise etc.

5. Ready to Serve !
- Should I repeat this steps ? Eat it at your own ~ Yummy!

The price for a 6"inches sandwitch is roughly RM 9~RM12 .
Feeling hungrier ? Just add another RM7 to upgrade your sandwitch into a 12"inches long sandwitch ~

Fireman BBQ restaurant @ Jaya One

Anyone who been to Jaya One entrepreneur park or The Curve will notice a red red shop labelled "Fireman". I have passby the so-called Fireman for a couple of times before I really had my meals there. It is a korean styled BBQ restaurant, which is not non-halal restaurant. I had a dinner there with vivian.

The BBQ Pan, using "pork fats" as lubricant. You can steambot the dish in the soup, and grill a meat on top of this pan.

The signature sauces of Fireman BBQ. The yellowish sauce is bit salty, and their special chili sauces taste very nice!

The set I ordered come with 2 bowl of jasmine white Rice. You can add RM2 to upgrade it to Fireman Fried rice .

This is the set I ordered. Its called "Beef set" for 2-4 person. My babe and me eat together, and we manage to finish it =)

After we BBQ and consume all the meat, we discover a lots of cabbage beneath it. It is believed that the veggies is more than the meat.

Overall, the dinner is satisfying. The only disadvantage of the restaurant is, the BBQ set does not come with a lot of variety of food, unless you place some side order. The restaurant provide "Fireman Show" too, which there is a guy who perform tricks with fire. The show is available around 7.30pm, and only exclusively at Fireman BBQ Jaya One. Thumbs up for the fireman shows !

Melaka Trip @ October 2008

I been to Melaka with some of my hometown best buddy. This is a short trip which consists of 5 dude, 0 babe and 1 Super Myvi SE. I never been to Melaka for a couple of months already.
Without any further delayment, lets peek at the photo that we have captured .

We stay at this Ringo's Foyer guest house located in Jalan Parlimen. It takes 5 mins to reach Jonker Walk with our strong legs. The price is pretty cheap as you can see in the flyers !
The stair to the Guest House. The place condition is very clean and hygine, although its a bit small and old. Dont worry, this is not those "Hotel" that you can found in Bukit Bintang @ KL that provide "Special Services" . One of the boss of the Guest house is TARCIAN too !
After we put our luggages into the room we quickly make our move to Jonker Walk aKa Melaka Pasar Malam. I enjoy my first meal here, CENDOL ! Woah, it is juicy and tasty and it will shock your tastebuds.
Next, I bought the Belgium Fries with Wasabi Mayonaise inside. The wasabi is very hot, and it shock my tastebuds entirely too! *lol*

Wafer Hotdog*. Nothing special but just a hotdog taple with Wayer.
Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup . We went out at 11.30pm in the night for Satay Celup! Surprise not, the place is still crowded even thou the midnight is coming.
Satay satay celup! Yum yum, the meals has just started. RM0.50 for normal stick, and RM0.60 for stick that has red colour on top of it.

Woah, so many "Celup". I ate 21 sticks of it , and the Man of the day ate 40 sticks !

Before we went to bed, I have the urge to become a Cowboy =) So just be it.
On the next morning, we went to this Nasi Ayam Hoe Kee for our breakfast. The shop is famous for "Chicken Rice Ball" .
Our meals has arrived. 1/2 of Chicken and 30 Biji of Chicken Rice Balls !
The Ball's. It look like a fishball seriously ! I love it !
The chicken meat ! The meat is very tendy and high in protein. Oops, sorry for mention protein here.

After we furfill our breakfast lust, we went to Stadhuys building and pretend to shop for a little while. We pay RM5 to go inside the building.
The building inside is some sort of Muzium. Look, so much "Keris" here.
Here is the Canon. In malay, we pronounce it as "Meriam".
Okay okay, please dont feel offended or jealous. Here is my "Canon" .

I'm so happy with the trip with my hometown friends. Many thanks for them who cuming and letting me to cum too. There is more and more things in life to be explored, keep in touch with me ya ! Feel free to leave a comment too.

Maxis Broadband 3G @ 3.6MBPS Review

Last few days I passby the Maxis Broadband booth in Carefour Wangsa Maju. Since I dont have any internet connection at my college room yet, so I decide to give this broadband a try with my roommate together.

We paid RM100, and its cash & carry no joke. And its really a Modem, I didnt say I dont trust them anyway .

Frontshot -This is the maxis simcard which used to insert into the Maxis broadband Modem.
Backshot- Yeah, the serial number below and it look exactly like a phone Simcard.

We paid RM100, fill in some registration forms and went home to wait for the connection to be activate in 2 hours. Before we pay, the sales person said it will need to take 2 hours to activate the connection and once we pass the $$ to the sales person, he said 2 hours to 1 day. Oh god.

Summarization of Maxis Broadband 3.6MBPS Connection

1. Average to normal speed in the evening.

2. A very horrible and crappy , worst connection when someone is downloading"good" stuff on the internet and the others surfing internet in the same network.

3. Only were able to download with the speed of 20~30kb/s in the midnight.

4. When raining , almost near 1% connection available only. Imagine you sitting moody in the rain, and your internet move like a snail.

Oh well, we will return the Maxis Broadband modem back to Maxis center next week as it does give us 7 days period of trial. Anyway, at least we had a very 'good' experience with Maxis Broadband after all.

Cameron Highland Trips - 1st October 2008

Woah, I am back everyone. Well, I've been to Cameron highland with my family and babe on the hari raya holiday. The last time I been to cameron highland is when I'm still in primary school if I can recall. It is a really long journey which take around 2-3 hours from my hometown, Kuala Kubu Bharu. We bought quite a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits ( tomato , strawberries ) and snapped quite a lot of photo.
Here I visited the Rose Valley , which has many many rose and cactus inside there.
Ouch, touched the cactus.. Its sharp , becareful.
This flowers snapped by vivian, sometimes I just realized she can be a part time photographer for this quality and passion work.
I wear in white colour , and "Guan Yin" also in white colour. We are soo match.
Me and Vivian on the bridge, its very nice to snap some photo with her.

Duh, do I look like a laid boss when sitting on the cage like this ? I'll hit some archivement and sit like this somedays hopefully :PYeah, we are riding on my beloved white horse. She just love to ride on my horse really, haha.I bring her back to my home to fill up my place with loves. Look, there are few roses grow beside me instantly~ Miracle.She snapped some photo with the rose. The rose have a nature nice scent just like her. The rose is red, her face is red too~ I wish I'm red as well, but my skin is too dark in colour.After finish exploring the Rose Valley, I sent Vivian home with my white horse again. I enjoy so much coming to cameron highland, and gonna miss there. Perhaps in the future I'll come again.

Laksa Shack @ Jusco Maluri Cheras

On thusday night , I had my dinner at Laksa Shack in Jusco Maluri, Cheras with one of my colleague("Mok Zhui"). I ordered a set meals which inclue : An Asam laksa , 2 piece's of Otak-otak and a Sirap Bandung. Although its just a laksa, the price included tax can goes up to RM16 per set. I never eat such a pricy laksa before this until today .

The first impression that come to me for the laksa is.. It look very "Fake".

Here is the set of Laksa. The drinks beside is "Sirap Bandung" which is just a Sirap Ais + Susu pekat. I can made a delicious Sirap Bandung seriously !

Look at the juicy Laksa , wow~ The soup base look very nice. The mint leaf look very fake, the sliced onion look very fake , the cucumber and yet the sliced chilli look fake too. What I mean by fake is , they look like a Plastic .

As a normal camwhore , I would not miss this opportunity to take a photo of myself enjoying the "Fake Laksa". Forgot to mention that, I am a big fans of Asam Laksa ! If there is any delicious Laksa stalls nearby, please kindly inform me and we shall have a meals together . Yummy~

May god bless me with more and more delicous foods , hehe.

Lin Yuan Steambot Kitchen@ Queens Park Cheras

Today I have been out with my colleague ( 4 ma lak lou ) for a steambot nearby our office. Its been recommended by one of my colleague(he preferred to be called "Mok Zhui").

After our work at 6pm , we straight head to the restaurant with an ambition to fill up our angry stomach .

This is the restaurant board , maybe some of you have been here before/seen before. It is just opposite the Carefour@ Peel Road in the Queens Park, Cheras.

While waiting the grossy solid food to come , I mange to snap some photos.

This is one of their staff. I MUST say their staff is veryUSER FRIENDLY ! They serve you well with the right timing . They mix the egg's for you and put into the porridge.

The porridge wont taste great without the egg's. The picture above shown that we called a mix soup base( Tom yam + Pumpkin Porridge ). I know pumpkin porridge might sound weird but it taste really great~ Not so sweet , not so sour , not so spicy , not so strong garlic smell just like the KFC Spicy Crunches .I heard if you call the soup base for only pumpkin porridge, they will give you a Claypot .

My colleague just love to play . . .Tong tong chiang~

As well as myself too :P haha~ Starwars steambot fight?

There comes the Pumpkin Porridge soup with porridge. It inherit the look and taste of shark fins. The porridge melt easily once you put into your mouths , watering your mouth and make your mouth wet . Get a tissue ready for it. A bit yellowish due to the pumpkin mashed into the porridge, it taste really good. Yummy~

Showing some "Kung-Fu" by pouring my hard-mixed egg into the soup base. Everyone love my skills ! I should consider in opening a food stalls !

Its RM13.90 per pax , with additional RM1.50 per pax for pumpkin porridge soup base. We order a side dish "Fresh Meat Dump" which consist the combination meat of Chinese-Meat, Chicken and Prawn. The meals is quite worth for the special "Pumpkin Porridge" and "User-friendly" staff. Hope my post entertained those who love foods =)
